Finally March came by, and the cold of
winter is fading away little by little. And from now on, as many of you may be
aware, is the start of the recruitment process for jobs in Japan aimed at
students cursing their last year of university education.
In order to inform all the future
applicants that wish to land into a job position in a company in Japan, we want
to introduce you all to the Japanese recruitment system called Shūshoku katsudō, better known as shūkatsu. Shūkatsu refers to the simultaneous recruitment of new graduates or
shinsotsu saiyō done by companies
each year in Japan. This unique style of job hunting that currently only exist
in Japan can be quite challenging for many foreigners that are not familiar
with it. That’s why we, as World Stage, would like to help you with the process
and give you the help that you need through your job search!
First, as mentioned before, the
recruitment process for students expected to graduate in April 2016 started on
March. The shūkatsu system has a
particular calendar that is followed by most of the Japanese companies each
year that considers the process from March 1st until the hiring of
the new graduates in April 1st of the following year.
From March 1st, many companies
will start to hold special seminars and job fairs were you can find which kind
of companies are recruiting, requirements, and other details of the job while
informing yourself about all the possible option available in the market. Is
because of this that we would like to invite you all to participate in our next
English Career Fair in Kyoto this Friday 6th of March!
This fair will give you the opportunity to
get information from companies in Japan completely in English! Do not forget to
check the following link and join us in this new recruitment process! https://www.worldstage.jp/kecf2015.html
From now onwards we invite you to follow
our blog and our social media webpages! We will publish information about the
recruitment system, its structure, and some advices that may help you during
your process!
Please do send us any question that you
may have or if there is a specific topic that you would like to know more
about!
